iMED insurance provides coverage of hospitalization and out-patient medical services for sickness and injury. iMED also covers most Routine Care for pre-existing medical conditions and includes a maternity care benefit. For the full coverage details (including the benefits, conditions, limits, and exclusions) please refer to the policy wording applicable to your iMED policy.

For policies with an effective date between August 1, 2025 – July 31, 2026

Policy wording will be available August 2025. The coverage will be the same as under the August 1, 2023 – July 31, 2025 policy, with the exception of an increase to the Repatriation of Mortal Remains benefit limit, from $12,500 to $15,000.

To request pre-approval for a specific medical treatment or procedure, contact MSH Assistance. It is recommended to request pre-approval at least 10 days prior to the scheduled treatment/procedure date.
